Insane. Just insane. Yes, let's worry about this...because we don't have actual problems to worry about... Let's see if we can control how a group of people use elevators. Yes, I think that would be the best use of a "religious leader's" time. I'm sure God is very concerned about this..

The article does not specifically address the mercury content being stripped from the vehicles prior to being crushed. I know the program to remove the mercury during the recycling process was primarily funded by GM, and the funding was cut to zero by the feds after the GM takeover.

Banks DO make money on people who pay their credit cards in full at the end of each month. The banks make a nice chunk of change from the businesses that accept the cards (a percentage of the transaction).
